Michigan Friday: The Transfers Are Coming, The Transfers Are Coming (For a Visit)

We know the transfer prospects and now they are coming to Ann Arbor for a visit.

Ty Isaac - Will make it to Ann Arbor next week for another visit.  He visited multiple times a couple summers ago before he committed to USC.   So this visit is probably more of getting introduced to Coach Nuss and reviewing the offense he wants to run in the Big House.   If Ty wants to try to get a waiver to play right away, Michigan might be too far from his home.   Northwestern or Illinois might be better choices if he really wants to stay close to home and get the waiver.   Let's hope Michigan is an option.

Eron Harris - the transfer guard from WVU will visit Ann Arbor on June 6 and 7.  Eron averaged 17 points per game as a sophomore and will decided between Michigan, MSU and Purdue.  He visited State last weekend.  He is expected to make a decision in June and will have to sit out a year but will have two remaining.

Recruiting gods if your listening, I would like both of these prospects please!

  • Another big visit coming for the Midwest's best WR, Miles Boykin from Illinois.  He is expected to visit Ann Arbor this weekend.

  • Sounds like Jake Butt is healing quickly and could be back before the Big Ten season.  He started a little bit of running this week.

  • Ty Wheatley Jr. just got by Florida State.   Brendan Ferns (brother of Michael) visited Michigan State recently and got offered,  he probably will visit OSU before a Nike event this weekend.

  • Fitz signs a contract with the Baltimore Ravens, I hope he makes the team.

Bob,

I'm wondering why you didn't post the breaking news regarding the OC's title. Apparently now we have the "Sanford Robinson-Offensive Coordinator" thanks to a $3,000,000 donation.

I say we start passing the hat, to come up with enough donations for you to sponsor the door to the locker room. How cool would it be for the team to bust out of the "Big House Blog" locker room door on game day?

I know, this is really killing me, there must be a better way to give money to the University then selling coaches titles.

For a couple million I would be asking to call at least 10 plays against App. State!
