Not to relish in someone's demise, but this is the best for the program. We were only going to be stagnant as long as Sherrone was in charge.
Who's next? Minter, Fisch, Keys, Lea, or Fleck. All better than Sherrone IMHO.

I don't know if Moore was the coach to achieve what all Michigan fans want, it was still too early to tell. But this is a fucked up way for it to end.
Warde slow played this like a Texas hold em hand. Collected all the evidence, then waited for all the recruits to sign their letters of intent, then fired Sherrone.
MM, Minter did or does. He had/has a one year show-cause sanction. Someone over at 247 said that it, the show-cause sanction, starts when he attempts to come back to college. Another person over there said that it was over in April. Who knows!
When something like this happens, it is sad. The program, the kids, the staff all are negatively affected. I can't help but think that because 1) the school obviously knew about this and was investigating this early on that they knew they were going to fire him. Word on the street is that the players and likely coaches new about Moore's affairs. 2) The school obviously waited until after NSD to at least finish this recruiting cycle even though the other schools would try to pouch them. 3) I'm thinking [hoping] that they had the foresight to have another coach in mind and had reached out to said coach because timing is everything. 4) If they have a great coach in mind and can at least announce the new coach then he can reach out to the current players to try to get them to stay. At least that's what I'm hoping for. IMHO!!!
Voice of Reason ..... correct! The firing was planned for a while (I'm sure) .... a great quick hire would be quite advantageous! If drawn out like Penn State's ordeal could create a loss of player crisis!
I am not a believer in God, but this might be my proof that there is a Supreme being. More could have hung on for years and I am too old to wait for change. Get a great hire and not another cheerleader type! Did beat Ohio State the year before and a great flag planter but nothing else.

Reports now surfacing of Sherrone getting arrested today. This is no longer part of the game of football, and I feel for Sherrone at this difficult time in his life.

I bet my last dollar that Sherrone sought revenge on his girlfriend probably because he blames her and she might of cooperated with authorities. The only person at fault was Sherrone.

I remember someone (I'm not sure who) said earlier during the year that Warde Manual was interested in Jesse Minter as his head coach. I thought it was odd because they had Moore as the coach but now that statement makes more sense if true. This investigation has been in the works at least since the summer.
One youtuber (Josh Pate) indicated that Michigan's administration may have been waiting for Moore to have a losing season or particularly losing against the bad teams so that they could fire him during the season just like PSU did James Franklin and not have to use the "Just Cause" clause..
It's still speculation whether or not they've contacted someone about the job before now. IMHO!!!

I wasn't a fan of Sheronne the coach, but not happy the way this went down. I hope he is ok and not suicidal if that's true. I feel really bad as he has 3 young daughters. He needs to get help and get his stuff together and at least take care of his kids.
Minter had a show cause and it expired this year. I would offer him more money as I think he's making around $2 Miilon a year and he may say no, but he would at least have to think about it. Say $8 to $10 Million as it's all play money with college sports.
John Harbaugh would be a home run. Call him up and tell him we will pay more money than he's making and that he's won a SB and now he can win a NC which his brother hasn't accomplished yet.
I am not sure I believe that because the recruits can get out of their commitments which there will probably be a few as schools are coming after them hard right now. I am not a fan of Warde and he should be fired for hiring Sheronne in the first place. Either way, this is messed up and sad.

Warde is the one that signed him even if our boy Jimmy said he was the guy. Warde needs to get this right unless they fire him tomorrow which I am ok with.
