I have to stop thinking about College Basketball like I do College Football. With football if you can keep a guy happy on the roster you have him for at least 3 years. In those years, you can develop a high school star into an NFL prospect.
College Basketball is different as kids can jump to the NBA whenever they have the opportunity and so can your coach. Michigan just won a National Championship and the roster outside of McKinney will be completely different. I'm not sold on Mike Boynton being a head coach, outside of recruiting Cade Cunningham he was a .500 coach at best with one trip to the NCAA. That doesn't mean he isn't a good coach and a great recruiter. He has managed to keep this roster together after Dusty's wind sent him to Dallas.
Over the holiday weekend Mike re-secured the following: TN transfer J.P. Estrella, LSU Transfer Jalen Reed, True Freshman Lincoln Crosby, Joseph Hartman and 5-star and potential starter Brandon McCoy. That is some great work out of Mike!
Is Mike the long term answer at head coach for Michigan? I lean probably no. I would prefer the St. Louis guy but I'm willing to keep an open mind this season and see what this squad has. He has done an A+ job already! Like I said, this is a one year business and this is the team we got for a trip to Detroit next winter.
- Gary Sheffield's son has committed to Michigan Baseball. I hope Noah has dad's power.
- There are 12 former Michigan Basketball Players playing in the Summer League right now. Including, Will Tschetter who has been playing in Australia but was signed by the Trail Blazers for the summer league.

Don't forget Cadeau's coming back too. I think the Sheronne Moore debacle has us all cautiously optimistic about the Boynton tenure. Dusty obviously knows talent; if he hired Boyton to be his right-hand man, I trust Mike will do a great job.
