There seems to be a running theory with Michigan's head football search, that tonight's Alabama @ Oklahoma could turn the search on its head.
The theory is, if Alabama loses, Kalen DeBoer will be very interested in the Michigan job and could even have an offer that he has 24 hours to accept. If Bama loses, the fans might also drive him to Ann Arbor. If Bama wins, he is out of consideration as the the playoffs will last too long.
Both teams are pretty equal and Oklahoma upset Bama at home this season. Alabama did not play well against Georgia in the SEC Championship game and Oklahoma is playing at home. The Sooners are favored by 1.5.
Either way, I expect we will see some progress in the search this weekend.
- Is this the best football weekend of the year? It started off last night with maybe the best Thursday night NFL game ever. Tonight we have the above. CFP and NFL on Saturday and the NFL on Sunday. I loved to seeing all the former Wolverines in the Rams and the Seahawks last night!
- Side notes: Jake Paul might get knocked out of ring tonight on Netflix and Michigan Basketball on Sunday on the Peacock. Western Michigan has a bowl game at 11:00 AM this morning.

Well are we happy, not happy, or happy to be not happy...
This column shows up on Monday morning? Kinda funny, it being outdated.
I predict 'Bama wins and Paul loses. Anyone want to bet?
