Wolverine Wednesday: Recruiting Blitz

  • Michigan is getting a jump on 2011 recruits: It always seems strange to me to start thinking about 2011 recruits when the 2010 class hasn't officially signed yet, but that's recruiting these days. Michigan has sent out a number of 2011 offer letters to recruits already including Cass Tech cornerback Delonte Hollowell and Orlando's Dr. Phillips running back Demetrius Hart. Both guys seem to have Michigan at the top of their lists right now: "Of course, they are my top team," Hart said. "I don't think I will commit now, but I will commit later to Michigan." Michigan has had good luck with Running Backs with the last name Hart.

  • Michigan offers another 2010 WR: Kenny Stills from California is a 4 star WR and a friend of Tate Forcier. This may also signal that some of the WR's Michigan has already verbally committed might be heading for a cornerback position.

  • If you missed the Elliot Mealer story last night on ESPN E 60 please watch it here and please give him and his family your support when you see them at Michigan games.

      • Molk is still two weeks out from playing again at his center position.

      • Tate takes the blames for the State loss, when it was really him that kept them in the game in the first place. This kid is "Nails!"

      • Wisconsin signs a two year deal to play Washington in 2017 and 2018. Wow! I guess 2020 was already booked.
