I thought today might be a bit quiet with Michigan coming off the MSU win and the Boilermakers coming to town. Then news starts to break last night and none of it really good.
-Justice Hayes seems to be hurt again and the rumor is a broken foot. He has been seen in a walking boot. Sherrone on his radio show, said he didn't know if he would play this weekend or not. The good news if its not broken and just a turned ankle, he can miss Purdue, there is a bye, and a trip to Northwestern before Maryland and the other school.
-Michigan and Sherrone have dropped their appeal against the NCAA. Hard to know what the reason to drop this now might be, but after Sherrone serves his last game suspension next season and Michigan pays the fine this should be over. I'm all for putting this to bed but it does come off a little soft to drop the appeal without something in return from the NCAA.
If Hayes stayed healthy all year, I think he would've been in NYC for the Heisman ceremony.
- Speaking of Hayes, he was co-Big 10 Offensive Player of the Week. Rolder won the defensive player of the week!
- New Michigan Point Guard Elliot Cadeau makes Cousy Award Watchlist
- Sherrone says they are being careful with Rod Moore's knee and he has been practicing some and working his way back.
- Will learn more about Sullivan's injury this week
- Someone is going to hire Hartline from OSU this cycle, correct?

Its 'HAYNES', not Hayes. Cmon man. Just like last year calling Mullings Mullens. How old is this dude???
Haynes seemed to be walking all right after MSU game
Who Bob?
Who cares how you spell his name....as long as he producing I don't really care! Michigan 35 Purduo 17
Blue for life
Your right MM ....kind of crazy to bite the hand that feeds you. Bob does not have to do this ..... maybe Mastermind has become rabid and frothing at the mouth like a "geezer" with dementia > like the oldsters he despises so much!
Well, if Haynes misses more time, the odds of him coming back next year go up. As to Hartline, he's a man-child. One of the most bitter dudes coaching so hope he gets his shot to be head coach....see also Brian Kelly; what happens when you hire dudes that are fueled with venom. No denying that Hartline has had great receivers but he recruited them as 5-stars so not sure he coached anything into them.
"Michigan and Sherrone have dropped their appeal against the NCAA." Of course they did, because they are weak! The university was soft when I went there and now they are even softer. Even if guilty, I am telling the NCAA we have deeper pockets and will drag you through court for years until we bankrupt you. What school would self impose a 2-game ban? I know any SEC school or Ohio State wouldn't, but Michigan does. Warde and the university are garbage!
I hope that Justice Haynes recovers from whatever is causing him to wear a boot.
