It sure doesn't feel that way to me. I will do a half ass preview on Wednesday morning for the Chessy Exhibition that doesn't even seem to be sold out. Two huge fan bases and they are like "ok, just don't get hurt."
Some News and Notes:
- The second Michigan Backup QB is headed to the portal and this time it's Buckeye Killer Davis Warren. Davis is already a winner at life by beating cancer and the eventual National Champions. I wish him nothing but the best and I hope he finds a great situation.
- Every fan wanted it and the connection was already there but it was made official yesterday that Tony Alford is staying on staff as RB coach. As you know, Tony is a great recruiter and a great RB coach. A perfect match! Let's hope this gives Hiter all the validation he needs to stay Blue.
- The one thing that this football drama has done is taken away headlines from one of the best Michigan Basketball teams in program history. Yes, they will have some nights where the 3 ball doesn't go in or the opponent locks down the lane, but they are really good and fun to watch. I wish they weren't buried on BTN Plus last night.
- Why do people keep listening to Urban Meyer? I could care less about what that clown thinks of Michigan's hire.
- I really like Biff but I believe he sealed his fate with a couple bad moves on trying to get the full time Michigan job. The 5 years comment and the 20-25 players might not get on the plane quote on a Texas Podcast he never should've been on, is going to kill his future as a Wolverine coach. I guess he will just have to enjoy his stack of money on a beach somewhere.
- Woodson was at Michigan's practice on Tuesday. He of course lives in the Orlando area.
- Chip Kelly is a man with a 100 jobs, is going to be Northwestern's new OC.
- Three GOATS are celebrating birthdays today: Dusty May, LeBron James, and Tiger Woods! Tiger is now 50 and eligible for the Champions Tour.
- Biff is saying 10-15 players are most likely not playing due to injury.

Davis Warren is a legend and I love that kid. I will root for him big time. If we had Jimmy that year we would've at least made the playoffs as we beat Ohio State and Alabama with Davis. After he threw 3 INT's early in the season it was right to bench him and then work with him and put together a simple game plan as you had 2 of the best DL in Michigan history, but nope we had Sheronne the garbage clown at the helm and he went with Orji. That is where I stopped listening to Sam Webb as he was also pushing and saying Orji should start and then I realized he has 0 credibility when it comes to knowing the game. Yes, I need to move on and stop being a little bitch as now we have a man in charge.
Appreciate your nice write up of Davis Warren ..... circumstances gave him a chance to shine and Davis "crushed it" ..... Warren now has fond memories he created to last a lifetime. Get rid of Biff before the next barbecue ... he will eat half the food it he is still here .... leaving less funds for NIL, and portal.
ScottyDoggs, that's a terrible thing to say about Biff as I am sitting here laughing. Maybe some NIL money for a man bra? Uncle Wink isn't too far behind.
Poggi is a brainless fat- phuck! That's put many all you can eat restaurants out of business. If he was so smart, he would realize looking like the world's largest giant pumpkin is not good for your health.
In regards to Urban Liar.... thought he was to busy giving lap dance lessons to be giving interviews
Sir Blue Monkey: You made me laugh about the man bra. could you imagine Bigg and Wink going down a Victoria Secret runway exhibiting the latest fashions in man-bras? They could both be the poster-child's of the physically UNFIT.
Look Davis Warren is a nice story, but lets be honest he should never of been a starting QB at UofM. He's not Steven Threat/Nick Sheridan bad, but he's not the caliber of QB that should of started at UofM. That being said, best of luck to him
I really can't wait for the Biff Poggi experience to just go away. Poggi didn't end his tenure at Michigan for anything he said. He's just not a good coach. he's not! He's an opportunist. He didn't win at St. Francis cause he was this great football mind...he had better players. He was a disaster at Charlotte.
Bob commented that he helped Jim turn around Michigan. I call BULLAH! Biff is the guy that will tell you what you want to hear. He's a yes man. Harbs might ask you what you think, but then Jim's going to do Jim things....though I don't think Poggi hurt his chances with the Michigan is a malfunctional organization comment....it does scream lack of awareness. Biff, you were part of the malfunction for many of those years!
I agree with you, but that's the best we had and that is on Sheronne and our GM (yes Harbaugh messed things up too), but he and that staff thought that Orji could be the answer. Sam Webb was pushing and commenting on Orji as well and now he's know as Sam the Clown Webb.We still could've and should've made the playoffs, but we didn't have Jimmy. Davis Warren is a good kid and it's not his fault, it was all on Sheronne and Warde and....
Love Davis Warren, but I thought he should've gone out on a high note. Maybe become a coaching assistant and work his way up the coaching ranks.
Back in the 1930s or 40s, Michigan had two real live Wolverines as mascots named Biff and Benny. Biff went on to attack his handler during a game. That put an end to Michigan's mascots.
How in the heck could Sherrone go into last season with Warren and Orji as his quarterbacks? Even Stevie Wonder saw they both sucked.
All those TV analysts are just talking heads. There's only 2 or 3 that really know what they're talking about. Klatt is honest, Saban knows the technical side of things, and Herbstreit. Everyone else is just there for entertainment purposes.
