If your a YouTube TV subscriber MNF was not an option last night so that only left Michigan's opener on FS1 against Oakland. Michigan has struggled with Oakland in the past but not last night. The Wolverines went on an early 20-0 run and never looked back and set a program record for points in the first half with 69. They finished with 121.
Look at some of these point totals:
Johnson Jr.: 24
McKenney: 21
Tschetter 16
Burnett: 14
Yax: 12
Mara: 12
Gayle: 11
Yax didn't start because he has a (non-structural) hand injury. So he scored 12 with one hand last night. Yes, we had an All American come off the bench. Oakland was also down 2 starters. Dusty's son even got his first college points when he hit a 3 late.
It was a dominating performance and if this team doesn't turn the ball over, they are going to be really good. Did I mention, UNC transfer point guard Cadeau had 12 assists? That is some good basketball right there!
- There is a new name in the Penn State head coaching search and its Louisville's Jeff Brohm, congrats on the incoming raise from Louisville Jeff!
- Michigan NW will be a Noon kick from Wrigley in a couple weeks
- Northwestern plays USC on Friday night on Fox, if your interested in seeing what Michigan has in it's next game.
- Michigan is trending for Wisconsin LB commit Aden Reeder who visited for the Purdue game and clearly sees a need for good LB's in A2.

Its nice to see somethings never change. PSU had no idea how to hire their last coach and ended up with James Franklin, a guy that took Vandy to looking not completely like ass. that coaching search traumatized the administration and fanbase so badly, they hung on to Franklin way too long. When the did decide to fire him they had NO plan for the next hire. They'll end with another half assed hire that will be no better than Franklin for the next decade.
if Michigan wants Bryce Underwood to stick around they better go after the best two WRs and multiple OL in the TP in the offseason. They need to empty the NIL on those two positions. what you're seeing on field this year is a direct result of an ass OL and WRs that can't get open.
McCully is alright and a big target, but he just doesn't get separation. everything with him is contested. Marsh seems to be a guy, but now teams are playing over coverage on him. Morgan? Forget-about-it. he has hands of stone. He and Goodwin can be anywhere but here next year.
Alarming that no other WRs are even getting playing time.
I wonder if Warde is lining up possible replacements for Sherrone, or if he's kicked backed in his recliner puffing on a stoogie?
Great basketball game last night! UM looks strong.
No sense scouting Northwestern. Sherrone uses the same gameplan for everyone- run the ball. Should be another thrilling shootout. UM-17, NW-14.
Mastermind, there are so many openings in college football right now, and that's not counting MSU and Miami (Cristobal has to be hanging by a thread) that do you think Warde could come up with a viable replacement for Moore? Now Michigan is an elite job, but Warde is a dufus.
Only way we get a coach is if he has Michigan ties. Any other big name you can forget about. So that prob means someone from Harbaugh's tree.
Sherrone's name is being floated around for some of the openings like LSU, Florida. Sorry, it's not April first and the only fool is Warde.
Michigan Basketball: Amazing what happens when you bring in some talent and have a good coach. Michigan football can pay for all the talent they want, but we don't have a good coach.
Am I the only one that is waiting for the other shoe to fall with Dusty May? don't get me wrong, I love the hire, its just Warde NEVER gets anything right! now was the Dusty hire about the adage even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while?
Let's give Sherrone the benefit of the doubt.. last year's team lost a lot a ton of talent from the year before.. this year's team is still very young with a freshman quarterback.. I think he's got a recruit better and that's what I want to see from him right now
